I paint with bright colours that exude warmth over the blank canvas, covering the fact that emptiness is the foundation of why I create.
The act of bringing life to something so dull through the beauty of multicoloured pigments is meant to distract from the truth, that I’m lonely, and I don't want anyone to know.
With every task, every change, and everything new that I strive to accomplish, my goal is to show that my life has more to offer, something worth noticing and appreciating.
When you hang the painting on display and attribute credibility to the frame, you can't dispute its beauty or value.
The picture-perfect structure, admired and praised, makes it clear that the fame from others gives hope to my pain and inspiration to my name.
I feel lost, and I know it. I am searching, but no one else can help me find what I’m looking for. Just something, chasing after anything and then coming to find it’s mere nothing.
All that is to do here, is amplify what is given, strive to bear the good fruit, and hope to find meaning in the way I consume the things I do.
But ultimately, all is lost if I am not embedded in the root—the one who made it all and can take it all too.
